Aloe are a family of succulents, the most popular of which being aloe vera or true aloe, which have become very popular houseplants. This attraction to Aloe is nothing new, however, as it has been known as medicinal and beautifying for centuries. Aloe are best suited for dry, hot climates and do well with similar care as other succulents. Tiger tooth is characterized by its rich green leaves edged with tiny tooth-like spines, which look intimidating but are actually harmless to touch.

Care: Your Aloe does not want too much water, but needs enough to maintain its succulent leaves. Wait until the soil has dried out completely before watering, and then water deeply. If your aloe is underwatered, the leaves will start to pucker.
