Lithops
Common names: Living Stone, Flowering Stone, Stoneface, Cattle Hooves
This adorable and intriguing plant has earned a variety of names for its odd appearance. Known as cattle hooves for its resemblance to the bottom part of a cattle's foot, lithops is more commonly known as living stone. This plant is, believe it or not, easy to care for! The most important thing to remember is that it very rarely needs water. It's thick body stores so much from each watering that it will be very easily overwatered. If you remember that care looks like leaving it alone in a bright spot, your lithops will thrive.
