Senecio jacobsenii ‘Weeping jade'

Senecio jacobsenii ‘Trailing or weeping jade’

Native to Tanzania and Kenya, this jade will naturally trail along the ground, but looks beautiful cascading downwards from a hanging basket as well. Although this plant resembles a jade, they actually belong to different families. Similar to the jades, exposure to bright light or cold temperatures might cause this plant to blush a purple or reddish color around the edges.

Light: Bright Filtered

Water: Drought Tolerant

Ease: Easy Breezy

Pet friendly: No

Care: Jades are forgiving plants, and good for beginner plant caretakers. Just be sure to not let them sit in standing water as this will lead to root rot.
