Cactus are a varied grouping of plants that range from columnar to stout, spherical to twisted, and with plenty of variation in between. Native to arid regions, cacti have evolved to expect lots of light and very little water.

The Bunny Ears cactus is a member of the Opuntia family, a cactus native to the Americas. Also known as a prickly pear, they produce fruit which are often used in drinks or jams. They have paddle-like bodies and this specific cactus is covered with fine spines and leaves that grow like ears on a head.
