The Opuntia is a cactus family native to the Americas. Also known as a prickly pear, they produce fruit which are often used in drinks or jams. They have paddle-like bodies and spines that range from large and threatening to fine and fuzzy. The Paddle cactus, also known as the Road Kill cactus, is identifiable by its flat shape and human-like comedic stature.
