Kalanchoe is a succulent species native to Africa, and is comprised of over 100 unique Plants, all of which show off colorful blooms throughout the year if they are given proper conditions. The 'Panda plant' is characterized by fuzzy oblong fingers speckled with brown dots. The fuzz is a natural adaptation to protect the plant from sunburn, and when it blooms you'll see that the flowers are also covered in the unique fuzz!

Care: If you want your Kalanchoe to bloom, stimulate a hibernation period by giving it 12-14 hours of nighttime for several weeks leading up to late December, and bright filtered light for the remainder of the day. Once you see buds forming, you can move the plant to a spot with brighter light and watch as it lives its bloom cycle!
