Bromeliad neoregelia 'Fireball'

Bromeliad neoregelia 'Fireball'

Bromeliads are a fun family that includes pineapples, air plants, and a variety of other plants that may be less familiar. What they have in common is striking leaf colors and patterns, and very frequently a one-time bloom (which may last several months) that emerges from the center of the leaf cluster! Bromeliads are most likely to bloom if they are kept in a humid environment, and you won't regret the extra effort to give them that because these blooms are technicolor! Fireball is characterized by reddish-green leaves that can flush bright red, and brings a lot of vibrant energy to any room.
