Bromeliads are a fun family that includes pineapples, air plants, and a variety of other plants that may be less familiar. What they have in common is striking leaf colors and patterns, and very frequently a one-time bloom (which may last several months) that emerges from the center of the leaf cluster! Bromeliads are most likely to bloom if they are kept in a humid environment, and you won't regret the extra effort to give them that because these blooms are technicolor! Pink quill is an enchanting air plant known for it's dark grassy green leaves and pink flower with densely stacked petals.
Pet Friendly: Yes
Care: Bromeliads all have a 'cup' at the center of their leaves. This cup wants to hold water at all times, so make sure to not let it dry out! You can water the soil more occasionally.
