Dizygotheca elegantissima 'False aralia'

Dizygotheca elegantissima 'False aralia'

Common names: False Aralia, Spider Aralia, Threadleaf Aralia

Aralias are an elegant family of plants that start out small and bushy, and grow thick and sturdy stumps as they mature. This family is native to Polynesia, so the rules of caretaking tropical plants all apply - warm temperatures, above average humidity, and bright dappled light. False aralias are unique and lovely with long, feathery threads of leaves that shimmer metallic in the light.

Light: Bright Filtered

Water: Frequent

Ease: Easy Breezy

Pet Friendly: Yes

Care: Your aralia may drop leaves if you move it suddenly or your house gets very dry. Avoid leaf drop by shifting it's environment gradually, and providing a little extra humidity if you notice particularly dry air.
