Alocasia 'Kuching mask'

Alocasia 'Kuching mask'

Common names: African Mask Plant, Polly, Elephant Ear, Giant Taro

Alocasia is a family of around 80 varieties of subtropical plant, known for their impressive leaf design, shape, and size (some varieties have leaves that can grow up to 3 feet in length!) They do require a bit more attention as they want a lot of humidity, are not drought-tolerant, and will burn easily if exposed to direct sun. If you can provide a nourishing environment, you will be rewarded with their stunning foliage enlivening your space. Kuching mask is striking with it's arrowhead-shaped dark green broad leaves.
