Movement at Terracotta
Start your Sunday by harmonizing your mind, body and spirit moving through a Hatha Flow with our wonderful yogi, Amanda Preston. Come awaken your energy from 8:45- 9:45 am in Terracotta's botanical wonderland at 2005 Pearl St. This class will focus on awareness of the breath, integrating breath and movement, and finding healthy postural alignment to bring a sense of spaciousness into our physical, mental, and energetic bodies.
Amanda Preston is a 320-hour HYTT certified Yoga Instructor working towards her 500-hour certification. She is also a certified Level 1 Meditation Teacher. Yoga has been a part of her life since she was a little girl, and towards the end of her teenage years it became the focal point of her physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Amanda studied and taught both yoga and meditation at the Shambhava School of Yoga Ashram in 2017. She studied not only physical asanas but pranayama and meditation, as well as Ancient Yogic philosophies.
In addition to bringing an all encompassing awareness of strength and stability in her asanas, the practice of breath work, surrender, and self-awareness have become central to Amanda’s teaching. She strives to help you find unity and balance between mind, body and soul, bringing you closer to embodiment of your highest, true self.
