Common names: Madagascar Palm, Club Foot

The Madagascar palm is actually a succulent and not a true palm. The trunk bears striking resemblance to a cactus, while the top of this funky plant is covered with a distinct sprouting of leaves. In addition, the Madagascar palm is more drought tolerant than many of its cousins. You can expect to be rewarded with fragrant white blossoms in the summer if this little plant receives adequate sunlight and care.
